My name is Nina Dominguez and I’m an illustrator, animator, and sequential storyteller. I’ll soon be graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s in Illustration, Design, and Animation.

Visual narrative storytelling has been my passion since childhood. In my work, I build worlds that explore modern-day issues through sci-fi and dystopian lenses. Even when the characters and settings lean toward the bizarre, my goal is always to tell a meaningful story driven by deeply flawed, but relateable characters. My traditional mediums include watercolor, gouache, and pen and ink. As a primarily digital illustrator, I work mostly in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.

My mission is to tell unique stories through illustration—stories that inspire hope and empathy while exploring the interconnectedness of the human condition.
